His breakthrough in 2000 included remixes for renowned artists like Dajae, Terry Lee Brown, Jr., Mood II Swing, and Swayzak, and his productions have been featured on respected labels such as NRK Sound Division, Honchos Music, Junior Recordings, and Low Pressings. Additionally, Dano’s mix albums for Under Cover Music Group’s Tech House Phenomenon series and Slip N Slide’s Golden Gate Grooves compilation have showcased his versatility and deep understanding of the genre.
After relocating to San Diego, Dano and Red Melon Records have found renewed energy and inspiration, connecting with a diverse audience and infusing new influences into their work. The vibrant San Diego music scene has provided fertile ground for Red Melon’s resurgence, blending the laid-back California vibe with the label’s signature sound.
